Invitation from the Organizers

POC ’09, the 13^th IUPAC-sponsored International Conference on Polymers and Organic Chemistry, will be held in Montreal, Canada, from July 5 - 9, 2009. We will put together an exciting scientific program aimed at bringing together scientists working in the area of natural and synthetic polymers and their applications with special attention to new methods in polymer synthesis, bio-related polymers, electro- and photoactive polymers, self-assembled polymer systems and functional materials for various industrial applications.

POC ’09 will provide an interesting and stimulating forum of exchange and interaction with academic and industrial researchers. We invite colleagues from different countries working in related areas to come to Montreal to present their recent results, forge and exchange ideas, build and strengthen research collaborations, or simply make new friends and get to know other colleagues in research areas of common interest.

We ask you to kindly bring POC ’09 to the attention of your colleagues and students. Your participation will contribute to the success of this conference. We look forward to seeing you in Montreal in July 2009.
